Sweet Gentle Willow:
Pedigree name Shades of Grey -soon to be Shades of grey at Wolfvvind
Willow is an Alaskan malamute and our beautiful girl she was born on the 15th June 2005.
We collected willow from a breeder in wales when she was 7 weeks old, she was just a big bundle of fur and we all fell in love as soon as we saw her , (well who wouldn't she is just so adorable). willow was bought for my daughter Harleigh and with in a week they were inseparable were ever Harleigh went then so did willow she was her little shadow.
Not long after having bringing willow home we quickly realised she wasn't a malamute but a vacuum cleaner, she would walk around with her nose to the ground eating anything in her path, we had to watch her constantly she was not to be trusted. But unfortunately the inevitable happened and some how she swallowed a huge stone and a piece of plastic, this was the start of 5 weeks of hell she would have to go to the vets every other day having all sorts of treatment, as even though she had passed the stone and plastic it had done a lot of damage to her little belly. Willow took a long time to put any weight but with time and and a lot of TLC from all the family she pulled through and grew into a fabulous dog and a perfect specimen of the breed. She has a temperament second to none she loves everyone and everything. Her favourite past time is playing with dogs any size any colour any breed she ain't fussy. She shows perfect doggy manners when meeting new friends (dogs) she will automatically roll onto her back and flash her bits, she is such a lady.
willow loves her bed, not love as in always sleeping on it, love as in rip it up, shred it, must destroy bed only then will she settle down and quite happily sleep on the cold kitchen tiles surrounded with evidence of the fun shes had. We have now realised their's not a dog bed on the market which is willow proof and have just given up looking.
Willow completed her foundation puppy class and bronze good citizens and will be starting ring craft in the next few weeks.
